Today marks another year of my bro's age. Gosh, he IS getting older by the day. Wait a minute, me too! *stressed* Haha...can't believe I am already 20-odd...and increasing too! No wonder God's Word said that Man's days are like flowers...they die FAST. *grimace*

Celebrated my bro's bdae yesterday night, with my family. Went to this hawker restaurant place somewhere in Ang Mo Kio, and had a BIG FEAST! Crabs, chicken, seafood omelette, claypot tofu etc...the WORKS basically. It was a sumptuous feast, no doubt about that. Was supposed to go for a midnight show after, but got cancelled at the last minute, due to plain lousy planning. NO TICKETS! Ended up at home watching telly instead. Haha...

Had a class this afternoon and went SHOPPING with my cousin at Woodlands. Fantastic! Gosh, I can't even recall when was the last time I actually went shopping. Seems ages ago! Personally, I never really like shopping here in Singapore - it's ALWAYS crowded! Makes me giddy just seeing all these people walking through the malls. Bought a few stuff tonight, which I thought made it one satisfying trip for me! Managed to get the stuff that I want, including pressies for friends. Yay! Dun have to crack my brains thinking of pressies now...hehe.

This week's gonna be a packed one...hopefully, I'll have enough stamina to get thru this week. *winkz*

P/S: Oh, for those who actually read my previous blog about me getting another jab recently. Well, my blood test result is out, and if you haven't already figured it out, I am declared HEALTHY once again!!! YAY!!! No more needle-poking exercise for me - YIPPEE!!!! Thanks God!!!!

Been avoiding taking my blood test for days.
REASON - I have a TREMENDOUS phobia for needles!

Story why I had to go for blood test? Well, I had suspected dengue fever last week and had to go see the doctor for checkup. My eyes almost popped out upon hearing the doc's confirmation that I have to take a blood test to test for dengue fever. TERRIFIED! Had a needle poked into my vein juz last week, and honestly? REALLY dun fancy going thru the needle-poking exercise again.

This morning, was FORCED by not one, but three of my family folks who insisted that I go for another blood test. My legs felt like iron walking to the clinic in the morning....gosh, i really dread having that sharp needle poked into my arm, drawing my blood AGAIN.....*shivers*

Really praying that tomorrow's test results will be - I AM HEALTHY & WELL. MOST importantly, that I DO NOT have to go for ANOTHER blood test again.

Really doubt I can survive the 3rd one....

Had dinner this evening with a few of my secondary schoolmates, couple of whom I have not met for over a year! Enjoyable time.

It's amazing how, despite the length of time that we've not seen one another, things never really change. We're still chatting at length, gossipping about the latest goss that had happened over the past year, in our individual lives. No awkward moments...nothing. It's juz like everything was the same as before - comfy and relaxing. The only thing that is different is our biological clock....hehe.

Makes me realise that there really ain't no friends like old ones....
